Klinika: one Shopify site for treatments, bookings and skincare

How JWWD rebuilt and looks after the website for Klinika, a skin clinic in Erina on the NSW Central Coast, bringing treatments, online bookings and a skincare shop together in one place.

The brief

Klinika is a medical aesthetics and skin clinic in Erina, on the NSW Central Coast. A clinic like this has to do three jobs online: explain what it offers clearly and responsibly, make booking easy, and sell the professional skincare its team recommends.

Using a separate website, booking page and online shop would have meant three experiences and three places to keep up to date. Klinika wanted one site that did all of it and looked like the brand.

What we built

The original site was designed by Matilda Wilson. JWWD later rebuilt the Klinika website on Shopify, keeping elements of her design alongside the clinic’s style guide, and has looked after it since.

  • Treatments and products together: clinic services and retail skincare sit in one catalogue, so a visitor reading about a treatment can find related products without leaving the site.
  • Browse by concern: a Treatment by Concern page and concern-based collections help people start from the problem they have, not from product names they don’t know yet.
  • Booking: every Book Now button goes straight to the clinic’s Timely online booking.
  • Skincare shop: professional brands stocked by the clinic, with gift vouchers, memberships and a refer-a-friend page alongside.

How it's built

  • Shopify with a customised theme: brand fonts, colours and layouts set up to match Klinika’s style guide, plus a custom dropdown menu for a large treatment and product range.
  • Klaviyo email: the clinic’s existing mailing list moved across and connected to the store.
  • Bookings to email, automatically: a small tool JWWD built that brings new clients from Timely into Klaviyo on a regular schedule, while respecting anyone who has unsubscribed.

Ongoing SEO and content

Since launch, JWWD has looked after Klinika’s SEO and site health on an ongoing basis. That means local search work for the Central Coast, regular blog content on skin health and treatment technology, Google Business Profile posts, and steady housekeeping: page titles and descriptions, image sizes, alt text and making sure Google can find every page.

New product ranges are set up with SEO in mind from the first day, so they don’t need fixing later.

The result

Klinika has one website that does the work of three, run on a platform the clinic’s team can update themselves, with JWWD handling the build, the integrations and the search work behind it. It’s the kind of long-term partnership we like best: we know the site and the business, so improvements happen quickly.
